Hull KR's Jack Broadbent Scores PSG Shirt During Amsterdam Adventure

Rovers forward meets Lionel Messi during wild weekend away

Jack Broadbent's weekend away to Amsterdam saw him meet Lionel Messi and collect one of his match-worn shirts as souvenirs.

The Hull KR forward posted pictures on social media of him meeting the Paris Saint-Germain star outside the city's Hard Rock Cafe. He was with his girlfriend Ellie and team-mate Mikey Lewis.

The trio posed for a photo with Messi, who signed the shirt with the message 'Para Jack. With love, Leo Messi'.

The shirt, which Messi wore in PSG's 2-1 win over Angers, was signed with a silver marker.

Broadbent, Lewis, and Ellie jetted off to Amsterdam following Hull KR's 24-10 defeat at home to Castleford Tigers on Friday night.

As well as meeting Messi, the Rovers forward also found time to check out the city's famous sights, including the Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum, and the Heineken Experience.

Broadbent will be hoping to put his Amsterdam adventure behind him and focus on Hull KR's next game, which is away to Warrington Wolves on Saturday.

The 25-year-old has been in good form for the Robins this season, scoring four tries in his last five appearances.

He will be hoping to continue his good form against the Wolves and help Hull KR get back to winning ways.
