De Decker, 26, opened his campaign with a comfortable 6-2 victory over Northern Ireland's Daryl Gurney in the first round.
De Decker falls short against Van Gerwen
The Belgian then faced world number one Michael van Gerwen in the second round and, despite a spirited performance, was ultimately defeated 6-3.
Anderson praises De Decker's talent
Anderson, who commentated on the match, was full of praise for De Decker's performance, saying: "Mikey De Decker, that boy is so good. He's got everything. He's got the skill, he's got the temperament, and he's got the bottle. I think he's going to be a major force in the game for years to come."
