Traffic and Travel Advice Issued Ahead of UEFA Nations League Football Match in South Belfast
Matchday Travel Disruption Expected
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has issued traffic and travel advice ahead of the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Cyprus at Windsor Park in south Belfast on Saturday, June 11, 2023.
Road Closures and Traffic Restrictions
A number of road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place in the vicinity of Windsor Park on matchday. These include:
- Windsor Avenue will be closed from 2pm until 10pm.
- The Upper Newtownards Road will be closed from 3pm until 10pm.
- Traffic restrictions will be in place on the Cregagh Road, the Ravenhill Road, and the Ormeau Road.
Public Transport
Translink will be operating a park and ride service from the following locations:
- Saintfield Road Park and Ride
- Dundonald Park and Ride
- Bangor Park and Ride
The park and ride service will operate from 4pm until 10pm. Tickets cost £5 per person.
Parking Restrictions
There will be no parking available in the vicinity of Windsor Park on matchday. Vehicles parked illegally will be towed away.
Supporter Information
Supporters are advised to arrive at Windsor Park early to avoid delays. The stadium gates will open at 5pm.
Tickets for the match are still available and can be purchased from the Irish Football Association website.
