Scotland Nations League games to be shown on YouTube
New streaming deal to allow fans to watch all of Scotland's Nations League games live online for free
The Scottish Football Association (SFA) has announced a new streaming deal with YouTube that will allow fans to watch all of Scotland's Nations League games live online for free.
The deal will cover all of Scotland's home and away games in the Nations League, starting with the match against Armenia at Hampden Park on June 8.
Fans will be able to watch the games live on the SFA's YouTube channel, with coverage starting 15 minutes before kick-off.
The SFA said the deal was a "significant step forward" for Scottish football and would allow fans to watch the national team play live online for free.
"We are delighted to have secured this deal with YouTube, which will allow fans to watch all of Scotland's Nations League games live online for free," said SFA chief executive Ian Maxwell.
"This is a significant step forward for Scottish football and will allow us to reach a wider audience than ever before."
The Nations League is a new competition for European nations, which was launched by UEFA in 2018.
Scotland are in Group B of the Nations League, along with Armenia, Ukraine and the Republic of Ireland.
The top team in each group will qualify for the Nations League Finals, which will be held in June 2023.
The Nations League is a replacement for the old international friendly matches, and it is designed to provide more competitive matches for European nations.
The SFA's deal with YouTube is a major coup for the governing body, and it is sure to be welcomed by fans.
