Rebekah Vardy slams Coleen Rooney: 'She always wanted my life'

Rebekah Vardy has lashed out at Coleen Rooney in a sensational new interview ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The WAG, 40, who is preparing to test her limits in the Australian jungle, claimed she always felt like Coleen, 36, was "obsessed" with her and "wanted what she had."

Rebekah, who was accused by Coleen of leaking stories about her to the press in October 2019, said she believes Coleen was "obsessed" with her.

"I do not know why she has been so obsessed with me," Rebekah said. "I think she wanted my life. I think she wanted what I had."

Rebekah also claimed that Coleen's accusation had a devastating impact on her life.

"It was horrible," she said. "I was seven months pregnant at the time and I had to have my phone turned off for three days.

"I couldn't read anything that was being said about me. I was just sitting at home, crying. It was awful."

Rebekah's comments come ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, which is set to start on Sunday.

It is thought that Rebekah will be paid a hefty sum to appear on the show, with reports suggesting she has signed a deal worth £500,000.

Rebekah is one of 12 celebrities who will be taking part in the new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The other celebrities taking part in the show include former health secretary Matt Hancock, singer Boy George and actress Sue Cleaver.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! starts on Sunday 6th November at 9pm on ITV.
