Pakistan spin duo just too good for England batters: Stokes
The left-arm spinner took 4-76 as England were bowled out for 281 in their first innings on day two of the third Test.
Off-spinner Sajid Khan also impressed with 3-56 as Pakistan took control of the match at the National Stadium in Karachi.
England captain Ben Stokes admitted that Pakistan's spinners were "too good" for his batters after they were bowled out for 281 in their first innings on day two of the third Test in Karachi.
Left-arm spinner Nauman Ali took 4-76, while off-spinner Sajid Khan claimed 3-56 as Pakistan took control of the match at the National Stadium.
Stokes, who made 60, said: "Pakistan's spinners bowled very well. They were too good for us today. We didn't bat as well as we could have.
"We need to learn from this and come back stronger in the second innings. We're still in the game, but we need to bat much better."
Pakistan lead the three-match series 2-0 and will be looking to wrap up a clean sweep in Karachi.
The spin duo of Nauman and Sajid have been in excellent form throughout the series, and they were once again the key performers for Pakistan on day two.
Nauman, who was recalled to the side for the second Test, has now taken 13 wickets in the series, while Sajid has claimed 11.
England's batsmen struggled to cope with the spin duo, with only Stokes and Ollie Pope (60) offering any real resistance.
The tourists will need to bat much better in their second innings if they are to avoid a 3-0 whitewash.
