The Ohio State Buckeyes opened their 2024-25 season with a dominant 81-47 victory over Youngstown State on Friday night at Value City Arena.
The Buckeyes were led by four players in double figures, including Brice Sensabaugh (18 points), Bruce Thornton (16 points), Justice Sueing (14 points), and Zed Key (13 points).
Ohio State never trailed in the game and led by as many as 37 points in the second half.
The Buckeyes shot 50% from the field, including 44.4% from three-point range.
Youngstown State was led by Garrett Covington's 13 points.
With the win, Ohio State improves to 1-0 on the season.
They will next host Xavier on Monday night at Value City Arena.
