NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship Set for 2023
First and Second Rounds to be Played November 11-13
Tournament to Conclude with Semifinals and Final in Cary, N.C., December 1-3
The NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship will officially begin on November 11th, with the first and second rounds to be played across campus sites around the nation. The tournament will see the top 64 teams in the nation vie for the national championship, which will be held in Cary, N.C., from December 1st to 3rd.
The field of 64 teams will be announced on Monday, October 30th, with the selection show set to air on ESPNU at 4:30 p.m. ET. The top 16 teams in the tournament will receive a first-round bye, while the remaining 48 teams will compete in the first round for the right to advance to the second round.
The first round of the tournament will be played on Friday, November 11th, with the second round to be played on Sunday, November 13th. The third round of the tournament will be played on November 18th and 20th, with the quarterfinals to be played on November 25th and 27th.
The semifinals will be played on December 1st, with the championship game to be played on December 3rd. The semifinals and final will be played at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., and will be televised on ESPNU.
