The YouTuber/boxer showed off his usual playful side by letting random participants take turns trying to wind up and throw a punch at his head
Jake Paul let his fans punch him in the face during the weigh-in for his upcoming boxing clash with Tommy Fury.
The YouTuber, who has turned to professional boxing in recent years, was spotted allowing fans to get up close and personal at yesterday’s weigh-in.
In a video posted to his own social media accounts, a number of people can be seen lining up as they take turns trying to wind up and throw a punch at Paul’s head.
The 26-year-old, who weighed in at 183.6lbs ahead of his fight with Fury, can be seen laughing and joking with the fans as he endures each punch.
Even when he is hit with a particularly hard right hand, Paul simply smiles and pats the fan on the shoulder whilst giving a thumbs up.
The clip has been viewed over 10 million times already and has prompted a mixed reaction from fans.
Some have praised Paul for his relaxed and engaging approach with the fans, while others have questioned why he wouldn’t take the weigh-in a little more seriously.
Either way, it’s clear that Paul is doing something right when it comes to building anticipation and excitement for his upcoming fights.
He may not have the best boxing record, but he’s certainly one of the most talked-about fighters in the world right now.
And if he can continue to keep people entertained in the build-up to his fights, then he’ll continue to be a major draw regardless of the result when he steps into the ring.
