Girls Aloud release I'll Stand By You (Sarah's Version) for BBC Children In Need

A new version of the Girls Aloud hit I'll Stand By You has been released to raise money for BBC Children In Need.

The track, entitled I'll Stand By You (Sarah's Version), features vocals from Sarah Harding, who died of breast cancer in September 2021.

It was recorded in 2020, but has been released now to mark the 20th anniversary of the original song.

All proceeds from the single will go to BBC Children In Need, which helps disadvantaged children across the UK.

The song is a powerful ballad about friendship and support, and it's sure to be a hit with fans of Girls Aloud and Sarah Harding.

Nadine Coyle, who sang backing vocals on the original version of I'll Stand By You, said:

"I'm so proud of this song and what it represents. Sarah was an incredible singer and a wonderful friend, and I know she would be delighted that it's being released to help such a worthy cause."

Cheryl Cole, who was also a member of Girls Aloud, said:

"This song is a beautiful tribute to Sarah and her memory. I'm so glad that we're able to release it to raise money for BBC Children In Need."

I'll Stand By You (Sarah's Version) is available to download and stream now.
