Gary Oldman to Star in Special Cbeebies Bedtime Story for Children in Need
Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman is set to star in a special CBeebies Bedtime Story for Children in Need, reading a one-off book about a group of friends who learn to accept their differences.
The special episode, which will air on BBC One on Friday 18th November, will see Oldman reading 'The Different Dog' by Pip Jones and Laura Hughes.
The story follows the adventures of a group of friends who learn to accept their differences and celebrate their individuality.
Oldman said: "I'm delighted to be taking part in CBeebies Bedtime Story for Children in Need. It's a great opportunity to help raise money for such a worthwhile cause and to share a wonderful story with children all over the UK.
The special episode is part of the BBC's Children in Need appeal, which raises money for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
Last year, the appeal raised a record-breaking £50 million.
