Catherine Keyl was disappointed with costume at The Masked Singer: ‘You don’t get to choose’
Singer had to wear large costume, while other candidates wore smaller costumes
Catherine Keyl was disappointed with her costume at The Masked Singer. The singer had to wear a large sheep costume, while other candidates wore smaller costumes. “You don’t get to choose,” says Keyl.
Keyl says she had trouble moving in the costume. “I felt like a giant marshmallow,” she says. “I couldn’t see well, and I couldn’t hear well. It was really difficult to perform.”
Costume was designed to make Keyl look like a sheep
The costume was designed to make Keyl look like a sheep. Keyl says she understands why the producers chose the costume, but she still thinks it was too big.
“I think they were trying to make me look like a cute and cuddly sheep,” says Keyl. “But I think I ended up looking more like a giant marshmallow.”
Despite her disappointment with the costume, Keyl says she had a great time on The Masked Singer. She says she enjoyed working with the other candidates and the crew.
"I had a lot of fun," says Keyl. "I learned a lot about myself and about singing. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to have been on the show."
The Masked Singer is a reality singing competition in which celebrities perform in elaborate costumes with their identities concealed.
