Ohio State Buckeyes dominate Youngstown State Penguins, 63-0

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes opened their 2022 season with a dominant 63-0 victory over the Youngstown State Penguins on Thursday night in Columbus.

The Buckeyes scored touchdowns on their first seven possessions and held the Penguins to just 102 yards of total offense.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 20 of 26 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns.

The Buckeyes will now turn their attention to a much tougher test next week when they travel to College Station to face the No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies.

The Aggies are coming off a 41-10 victory over the Sam Houston State Bearkats in their season opener.

The Buckeyes and Aggies have not met since 2012, when Ohio State won 29-20 in Columbus.

The battle of the quarterbacks: Stroud is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, while Haynes King is a rising star for the Aggies.
The Buckeyes' running game: Ohio State has one of the most talented running back duos in the country in TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams.
The Aggies' defense: Texas A&M has one of the best defenses in the SEC, led by linebacker Demani Richardson.

The Buckeyes-Aggies showdown is one of the most anticipated games of the college football season.

The winner will be in a strong position to compete for a national championship.
