Ohio State Buckeyes dominate Youngstown State Penguins, 63-0
The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes opened their 2022 season with a dominant 63-0 victory over the Youngstown State Penguins on Thursday night in Columbus.
The Buckeyes scored touchdowns on their first seven possessions and held the Penguins to just 102 yards of total offense.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 20 of 26 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns.
Buckeyes prepare for showdown with No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies
The Buckeyes will now turn their attention to a much tougher test next week when they travel to College Station to face the No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies.
The Aggies are coming off a 41-10 victory over the Sam Houston State Bearkats in their season opener.
The Buckeyes and Aggies have not met since 2012, when Ohio State won 29-20 in Columbus.
